Why do most online political tools feel pointless?
We saw a gap: people want real understanding, not just generic labels. Most apps are shallow, outdated, or trap users in stereotypes.
We set out to build a product that engages critical thinking – one that makes people ask “why do I believe this?” instead of just “which color am I?”

Our research approach was all about context and nuance:
User Interviews: Ten in-depth interviews with people from different backgrounds. Students, expats, educators, data pros. Nearly everyone called out standard quizzes as "meaningless" and "too reductive." They wanted reasoning, not stereotypes or clickbait.
Quantitative Survey: We surveyed 47 university students. Biggest blockers were confusion, lack of comparison, and a total absence of personal growth or explanation in existing tools.
Competitive & Secondary Research: We benchmarked 5+ leading platforms – almost all were web-based, country-specific, or election-season “clickbait.”
We incorporated jobs-to-be-done mapping & global audience analysis – conducting all key research steps ourselves to ensure our solution truly matched user needs.

The result: users no longer just accept a label, they question, compare, and understand their beliefs with confidence and context.
Churn dropped, engagement times grew, and feedback showed a shift from “I don’t trust these tools” to “this actually made me think.”
What was once a superficial quiz became a system for activating real curiosity, dialogue, and critical thinking, setting a new standard for political edtech.
